At The Blossoms Gate

This a 19-Chapter story; well, a J-Horror story that is.
I will post the first 5 chapters.
Here it goes:



Ch.1
The girl, all lost confused and scared, walked slowly home; still carrying the candy her friend had bought. She looked up at the sky; it began to rain.
"WHY!!!!!! WHyyyyY!!!!! whyyyyyy!!!" She fell on her knees and cried. "Whyyy her? Whyyy?"
"Miuzaki! Honey, you alright?! Where's Jie?"
"She's---SHE WAS KILLLED?!?? WHyyyyyyy!!"
"Honey, come inside, you're gunna catch a cold." Her mother brought her. She sat her down and handed her tea.

"Tell me everything; from the start."
"Jie and I were coming home from school, Jie was hungry so she wanted something to eat. We walked and walked then saw that Tokyo Candy Store. We walked in and saw this creepy dude at the cash register."
"Why didn't you guys just walk here? I would've made something."
"She was REALLY hungry..Jie was looking around; then, she saw in a paper he had about a Head-less woman. She asked him. He told the story..Then she bought candy and left."
"Head-less woman? What is that?"
"You never heard of it?"
"If I did I would've known."
"Its about this girl running from her family and her father followed her and sliced her head off! She comes around the 18th and 19 of April looking for eachother."
"But its only Feburary..."
"Yeah! When Jie and I were walking home, we saw a woman wearing a robe, she asked Jie if she can have her head...He never told us that part."
'Well, it's his fault."
"It was ours. We left in a hurry cuz we didn't wanna be late."
"Ohh, continue."
"She removed her hoodie: SHE HAD NO HEAD!! She walked up to Jie and ripped her head off! She asked for mine, I screamed, and when I looked up, she was gone...All I saw was Jie's head-less body."
"My dear! I got to inform her--"
"Parent's are out of the country..."
"My god, who was she staying with?"
"Brother..But Seto was working tonight...He doesn't get home until 11."
"Well, its 10:50 now...What time did it happen?"
"I don't know, maybe around 9:30."
"Miuzaki, wash up and go to bed. We'll talk more of this in the morning."

"Ohayo Gozaimasu Miuzaki-kun!!" Parker came and hugged her hard.
"Good morning to you Parker. Your Japanese is improving."
"You think? I've been studying non-stop! 12hrs a day! Im beat! Whats for breakfast?"
"The usual: Eggs+strips of toasted bacon."
"Yumm! Hold on, I gotta get my bags."
"Bags?"
"Yeah, didn't your old man tel you?"
"No. Are you staying with us?"
"Only for the time being. I gotta get back to California in a month, so I got nowhere to stay. Lucky your old man said I could stay or I would;ve been on the streets!"
"There's a place call a hotel you could stay at."
"But I don't got Japanese money."
"Yen."
"Hai."

Parker and Miuzaki knew eachother through their parents. Before moving to Tokyo, Miuzaki and her family lived in California. Just a few houses away, Miuzaki attended elementary-middle school in the U.S.
She knew Parker at her aunt's wedding. Parker's mom, Linda was Ginta's (Miuzaki's uncle) best freinds ever since birth. The two (Miuzaki + Parker) were only 7 at the time of their friendship.
"Hey girl, wanna dance?"
"*chuckles* OKay."
The little boy blushed and grabbed her hand, he walked her through the dance steps and held her hand.
"You pretty girl. What's your name?"
"Miuzaki."
'Wha?"
"Miuzaki. I am Japanese blood. What's your name?"
"Parker. I am Spanish, Dutch and a little Italian."
"You're alot for a boy."
"Yup..Is that your mom talking to my mom?"
"Oh no, that's my aunt, Suzuki, she got married."
"Oh! Is she the bride of the day today?"
"Yup."

"Miuzaki!" Called the girl's mom. "Well, look like you had fun. Suzuki wants you to be in the picture."
"Be right back!" She waved at the littel kid. Parker blushed and looked at the Japanese family taking a family photo. Miuzaki was on her mom's lap and her mom sat next to Suzuki, the bride.
"Say konnichiwa!"
"Konnichiwa!" Miuzaki looked at the camera and put on a big smile. Her hair was long black, her eyes dark brown and wore a white; tint of pink dress. She walked back to the boy.

"I'm back Parker!"
"Hey, that was a cute smile hehee."
"You think?*blushes*"
"Sure! Japanese girls got nice smiles. Hey, aren't you suppose to be in Japan if you're Japanese?"
"You don't have to. But I'm moving with my family to Tokyo next year."
"Where's Tokyo?"
"Japan silly! It's the country's capital!"
"Are--you going to come back?"
"No, but we will come back for summer trips and stuff."
"Yay!" He hugged Miuzaki. She blushed.

"Parker!" Linda, his mom, came to him. "It's time to go sweety. Say bye to youre girlfriend."
"Ma! She's not my girlfriend! Bye Miuzaki!" He waved to her as he was walking out.
"Bye Parker!" She waved back.


"Yeah, good times little kid!" He pet her head.
"Stop that! I ain't no kid!" She pat his head back.
"I'm older than you."
"Yeah! But like 3 months!"
"Ha! I'm still older! =p" He carried her outside. She sqeaked.

"Eeep! Parker! Put me down haha!" She pushed, punched, slapped his hands.
"That's not going to work haha!" He dropped her, she kicked his leg.
"Ow, what the hell?"
"Hehehe." She stook out her tounge at him.
"Little brat!" He grabbed her by the waist and picked her up. "Ha!"
"Put me down!"
"Nope...Hey, you got earrings and never told me?"
'Oh? So? They're just earrings."
"Yeah I know, but, I never saw you wear 'em at that wedding. Say, how's Suzu whatever her name is?"
'Suzuki. And she's good..Why?"
"Just asking geesh. Kid gotta know everything."
'Stop calling me a kid! Haha!"
"Wanna go out?" He blushed.
"Huh?" She looked him in the eyes and blushed.

"Kids! Breakfast!!"
"Let's eat, then..."
"Parker, are you okay?"
"Hai..I'm just tired. Didn't sleep at all on the plane."
"Aww you poor thing." She patted his head. "Put me down?"
'Sure." e placed her gently on the floor and walked her into the kitchen.

"Miuzaki," Hito picked up his rice bowl. "You're mother told me the incident last night. Have you informed Seto?"
"iie........"
"You have to go to the police."

"Seto?! Who's he? What did he do to her?!"
"Don't worry Parker, he's Jie's brother..."
"Jie? WHo?"
"A friend of mine......"
"Did her brother hurt you?"
"No......"
"Miuzaki sweety, you don't have to say...And the things the store man told you were sccurate, but, the ヘッドレスの旅人 isn't true. She is just a story people made up to scare kids on halloween. Say, you going for halloween this year?"
"No...."
"Kona really wants to go."
"Then let him!"
"Miuzaki! Do not raise your voice at the table!"
"Gomen..."

"Hito," Her mom consolted him. "Calm down, shes' been through enough."
"Been through what?! Can someone please tell me??"
"Nothing....I'm not hungry." Miuzaki ran to her room.
"Miu! Mister, Misses, what happened to her? May I ask you?" He bowed.
"You must let her tell you.."
"And what is a Heddoresu no tabibito?"
"Head-less Wanderer."
"Eh??"
"*sighs* Parker dear, it's one of those...uhmmm..."

"Have you ever heard of urban legends? Surely Amerika has some."
"Yeah but...I never heard of no Head-less Wanderer."
"Look it up, ask the people. Everyone ehre in Tokyo knows...It originated here."
"So it's a ghost story?"
"Something like that...But---"

"It killed her." Miuzaki walked down. "She killed her!!"
"Killed who?" Parker walked up to her. "Who is she?"
"Heddoresu no tabibito!! SHE KILLED HER!!!!!"
"Killed who?!"
"JIE!!!!!!" Miuzaki ran outside crying.

"Mister, Misses-"
"Call us Hito and Rochi.."
"Hito and Rochi...Who is this she?"
"Jie?"
'No, the head-less Wanderer thingy."
"Head-less woman. She walks the streets of Tokyo in April 18th and 19th..."
"But it's-"
"Feburary, yeah, we know. But she walked on Miuzaki and Jie last night...she removed her hoodie--"
"And had no head...Just like the head-less horsemen!!"
"Yes, I heard of that too. But she went to Jie and ripped off her head...Tried doing that to Miuzaki, but luckily she walked off."
'With Jie's head??"
"Hai..."
"Damn...That's cold...."
"Miuzaki came home crying, hysterically..."
"Of course! She saw her friend killed! Wouldn't you?"
"Yes, but--"
"I promise to keep her safe...I won't let that head-less wanderer hurt her or anyone else! If she want's someone's head: she should take mine!!"
"But she's only after beautiful girls' heads."
"Why do these things always go for the girls?!"
"I do not know."

"I never wanna see Miuzaki like this....I'm going to make sure she's safe.....I'll protect her even if it means I die..."
